Those without a high school diploma have an extremely hard time finding jobs which provide them with enough income to get by, let alone have the potential for growth and advancement. Even entry level jobs generally require a high school diploma at the bare minimum. However, people who do not have a high school diploma can earn a GED (General Educational Development) certification which is considered to be equivalent.
